James Lee Duvall, age 78

Mr. Duvall passed away at his Waxahachie residence Thursday afternoon. He was born in Roscoe, TX. to J. R. and Flora (Dalton) Duvall. Having served in the US Army in WWII as Corporal at the Battle of the Bulge he was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He and Mary Frances Ricketts were married August 31, 1966 in Marshall, TX. He was an accountant with Texas Power and Light.

He is survived by: his wife, Mary Duvall; sons, Jim Don Duvall of Aurora, Ontario, Canada and Gary Duvall and wife Delia of Maypearl; daughters, Angie Ellis and her husband Donald of Midlothian and Pam Garcia and her husband Joey of Waxahachie; sister, Lois Cannady of Cedar Hill; sister-in-law Lois Coleman and husband Jess of Linden, TX.; brother-in-law, Dub Willis and his wife Martha of Mt. Peak; eight grandchildren, six step grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Beverly Duvall, father Raymond Duvall, mother Flora Duvall, brother Raymond Duvall, JR. and sister Betty Willis.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Saturday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 3 PM Sunday, August 24, 2003 at Lakeview Memorial Park in Waxahachie with Reverend Dan Rogers officiating. Interment will follow.
