James Cumbo, Sr.

James Dallas Cumbo Sr. of Waxahachie passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas. James was born February 6, 1948 in Haysi, Virginia to the late Calvert and Evelyn Ramey Cumbo.

James Dallas Cumbo Sr. was retired from the US Navy after twenty-two years of service to his country. James also retired from the Union Pacific Railroad.

James is survived by his wife Glynda; two sons James D. and Joey D. Cumbo; step-daughter Crystal Rivers of South Carolina; four brothers Cecil, Kyle, Bobby, Wayne Cumbo all of Florida; two sisters Berniece Stoffler of Flordia, Lynn Thacker of Virginia; six grandchildren, and his mother-in-law Carlettie Campbell of Lake City, South Carolina.

Visitation with the family is scheduled for Thursday, June 29, from 6-8 pm at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, June 30, at 9:00 am at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business in Waxahachie, Texas. Interment will follow in the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
