Jacqueline (Jackie) DuWayne Wadsworth, age 58, of Midlothian, TX passed away May 31,2015 at home alongside her family from complications caused by cancer. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Don Wadsworth, and her two children Chloé Kathol and husband Matt of Loveland, CO; and Heather McCullough and husband Dan of Denver, CO. Jackie was born in Salina, KS January 28, 1957, and adopted by Mildred Armstrong Bailey and husband Jack. She grew up in Oak Cliff, TX and graduated from Kimball High School. She served three years in the US Army as a chaplain's secretary and was honorably discharged in 1978, qualifying as a Vietnam Era Veteran. Shortly after her discharge, she met and fell in love with Don. They were wed on January 11, 1980. Jackie served an additional 24 years in service to the US, working at AAFES in Dallas until her retirement in 2013. Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Bailey of Euless, TX; her father- and mother-in-law C. Orvil and Eula Wadsworth, and her dear friend Bruce Shuster, all of Midlothian. Jackie loved her family, friends and pets. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals, dachshunds in particular. She loved to travel and enjoyed vacations to the beach, the mountains, and anywhere she went with those she loved. She lived a life of service - to her family for whom she would do anything, her friends, state and country, and her Savior.
