Jackie S. Winningham Owens, 44 of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Ennis. She was born to Jack R. and Wilda S. French Winningham on September 29, 1964 in Waxahachie.
Jackie was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed cooking, going 4-wheeling, the outdoors and camping. Jackie loved her family and she will be missed by so many who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Alan H. Owens of Eldorado, AR; her daughter, Kalie M. Owens of Eldorado, AR; her sisters, Susan L. Jordan and her husband, David of Waxahachie, Carla F. Voorheis and her husband, Dirk of Waxahachie; numerous nieces and nephew; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. But with special love for cousin, Lisa Macalik of Avalon; her niece, Jennifer Hinton of Waxahachie; her aunt, Pat French of Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her step-son, Adam Lee Owens.
Services to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Bro. Cleve Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
