Jackie Burton

Jackie Lynn Burton Sr., 64 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 in Waxahachie, Texas. Jackie was born on September 12, 1952 in Olton, Texas to the late E.J. & Ethel Pearl Carter Burton. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a truck driver for many years. He will be dearly missed by his family and all that knew him and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Leola Burton of Waxahachie, Texas. One daughter & son in law: Loretta & Tim Avery, Sons & daughters in laws: Donald & Jean Burton and Jackie & Amy Burton, Jr.; Grandchildren: PJ Thompson, Michael Avery, Crystal Ramsey, Dustin Avery, Joseph Jenkins, Kandice Abrego, Jonathan Burton, Brian Burton, Matthew Burton, Cole Ennis and Carter Ennis; 16 great Grandchildren and a host of honorary grandchildren..

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Kathy Burton.

Graveside services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak, Texas.

Visitation with the family is scheduled for Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas.
