Mr. Archibald passed away Tuesday at the V.A. Hospital in Dallas. He was born in Seymour, TX. to Vondie Jack and Mary Elizabeth (Garretson) Archibald. He served in the U. S. Marine Corp as a Corporal in Vietnam. He attended Sonrise Fellowship Church in Irving. He was a loving husband and father.

Mr. Archibald is survived by: his wife Linda of Waxahachie; his son Steve of Chandler; two daughters, Trisha McEwen and Kim Archibald of Waxahachie; three sisters, Robbie Gann of Pasadena, Shirley Slaughter of Canton, and Judy Mills of Crandell and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother William Paul Archibald.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 7-9 PM Thursday, June 24 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM Friday, June 25, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with Reverend Bruce Hollander officiating. The pallbearers will be Alvis Coleman, Jimmy Gann, Walter Gann, Timothy Mills, Michael Ross and Mark Woody. Interment will be 12 Noon at the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.
