Jack L. Pinkston, 87 of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 in Waxahachie. He was born to the late Joseph H. and Freda T. Gardner Pinkston on May 5, 1922 in Forreston.
Jack married Mamie Josephine Marchbanks in 1946. He served in the Army Air Corps in WW II. Jack worked as Vice President of Operations for Southern Lead Company, which later was named the RSR Corporation, for 40 plus years. Jack's true love was travel and photography.
He is survived by his son Jerry Pinkston and wife Frances Pinkston, sister, Pansy Pinkston and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Forreston Cemetery with Rev. David Kirkpatrick officiating. Services are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
