J. Wright

J. Neil Wright, 86, passed away on November 5, 2016 in Ennis. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located in Waxahachie. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 6-8 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.

J.Neil was born on January 8, 1930 in Dunkirk, Indiana to Harold and Lela (Paschal) Wright. He retired from Saint-Gobain with 43 years of service and enjoyed going to the Saint-Gobain Retirees Luncheon Crew gatherings. Neil was also a member of the Men's Downtown Bible Class, IOOF Lodge #80, and the Whataburger Coffee Crew. He enjoyed eating out with his family and friends and liked to watch the Texas Rangers Baseball and Dallas Mavericks Basketball. Before his wife passed away, they enjoyed taking RV trips together. J.Neil loved and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Jo Wright; son, Richard Wright; and brothers, Jack and Jim Wright.

J.Neil is survived by his children, Terry Wright Sr. and wife, Shirley, Cassilda Amos, Sherry Smith and husband, Ronnie, and Randy Wright and wife, Peggy; grandchildren, Terry Wright, Jr. and wife, Mary, Travis Wright and wife, Lindsey, Gerald Amos, Christopher Amos and wife, Mayra, Misty Carrell and husband, Rob, Jason Low, Stacey Leatherwood and husband, Aaron, Patrick Wright and Emily, and Kevin Wright and wife, Lacey; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Dexter Wright and his wife, Bessie; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Waxahachie Men's Downtown Bible Class, P.O.Box 616, Waxahachie, TX 75168 or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research in his name.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie.
