Izetta Cagle, a lifelong resident of Waxahachie passed away peacefully on December 19, 2008. Izetta was born on April 11, 1919 in Lone Elm, Texas to Elmer and Beaulah (Harris) Brooks. She married Clyde Cagle on August 3, 1940 in Corsicana, Texas. She worked as a waitress in Waxahachie for many years including Mangan's Cafe and Gressett's, later to be known as the Kountry Korner Café. Izetta loved serving her regular customers as well as strangers. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flowers.

She is survived by one son, Steve Cagle and wife Jenny of Waxahachie; 2 Daughters,
Anita Mabry and her special friend Sharon Allen of Granbury; Renda Hewitt and her
husband Ralph, currently residing in Nicaragua; one sister, Helen Montgomery of
California; 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Clyde Cagle, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral home on Monday, December 22, from 6 to
8 PM

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 2:00 o'clock PM at
Sardis Cemetery with Bruce Zimmerman officiating.
