Mrs. Ellison was born April 13, 1910 in Collin County to the late William and Violet McCarver Shields. She was a homemeaker and had lived in Red Oak for the past 45 years.

Mrs. Ellison's survivors include: son, W.T. Ellison of Red Oak; brother, Rayford Shields of Mount Vernon; sister, Hazel Black of College Station, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.O. Ellison and daughter, Barbara.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 2 PM Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the Funeral Home with interment following in the Red Oak Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Red Oak Funeral Home.
