Israel Hernandez

Israel Tellez, 65, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020. He was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, on January 2, 1955. He was married to Rosa Tellez on June 20, 1979, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, daughter of Juan Guerrero & Estela Rocha.

Israel was an extremely hard worker and was busy all the time. Israel worked in the automotive industry; he owned El Camino Auto service for 30 plus years. His passion for working on transmissions is what kept him going in life. He was a spiritual man and involved in many, many church activities. He loved to sing in every gathering that he assisted while he cooked for everyone, he had a passion for helping others, and enjoyed having his family gathered every Sunday with a nice cookout and his favorite music.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rosa, two sons and one daughter, Israel Tellez Jr. David Tellez, and Roxanna Tellez, and two daughters-in-law, Josie Tellez and Judith Tellez; 11 grandchildren; Destiny Tellez, Israel Isaiah Tellez, Isaac Tellez, Abigail Tellez, Dalilah Tellez, Jesusito Tellez, Araceli Tellez, Alexandria Tellez, Isabelle Tellez, David Tellez Jr and Giselle Tellez, one brother, Eduardo Tellez, and one sister Arcelia Gonzalez. Preceded in death by Eduardo Tellez & Teresa Hernandez. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him!
