Iris Sanchez

Iris Ruth Nina Sanchez was born November 29, 1955 in Caruthers, California to Lonjino Rodriguez Sanchez and Iris Belle Staggs Sanchez. God closed this chapter in her life at Meridian Nursing Home on February 29, 2016 where she was spoiled by the staff who cared for her. Nina enjoyed listening to the radio and being around her family.
Nina is survived to 10 brothers: Visente Sanchez of Fowler, CA, Gene Sanchez wife Connie of LaPorte, Tx, Jerry Sanchez of Italy, Tx, Gus Sanchez wife Nadine of Mt. Pleasant, AR, Ben Sanchez wife Glenda of Ratliff City, OK, Frank Sanchez wife Jackie of Waxahachie, Tx, Ralph Sanchez of Emory, Tx, Robert Sanchez of Waxahachie, Tx, Samuel Sanchez wife Jan of Waxahachie, Tx, and Mathew Sanchez of Venus, Tx. Nina is also survived by 6 sisters: Pauline Barrera husband Salvador of Beverly Hills, FL, Janie Rando husband Lupe of Luling, Tx, Doris Rankin of Dallas, Tx, Beatrice Stiles husband Larry of Midlothian, Tx and Marie Sanchez of Emory, Tx, Alicia Fry of Joplin, Tx an uncle John Riley Staggs his wife Loraine of Hanford, Ca, and a multitude of nieces nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: John Sanchez, Miguel Sanchez, Lawrence Sanchez, Lonjino (Preacher) Sanchez, Amador Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez and sisters: Escolastica (Chata) Bastardo, Hijinia (Kino) Bastardo, Angie Staggs and Susie Cassady.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home located in Waxahachie. Interment will follow funeral services at Bells Chapel Cemetery.
