Ira Eggelston

Ira Fay Billings Eggleston was born in Reagor Springs Texas on February 27, 1948 in the back of a Packered She worked as a seamstress at Flexsteel for many years.

She married Dannie Ray Eggleston on February 24, 1967. They had two sons Jackie and Mark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Laura Billings and Etha Hamby. Also by her husband Dannie Ray, her sister Cynthia Gentry and other beloved family members.

She is survived by her sons Jackie Eggleston and Mark Eggleston and daughter-in-law Cindy. Her grandsons James and Stephen Hendricks and Tristan and Jacob Eggleston By her brother James {Butch} and wife Loretta Billings and sisters, Rita Richardson, and Carrie {Little Beth} Bryson and many loved nieces and nephews.

Ira was a simple women who loved nothing more the spending time with her family and more with her dogs Pete and Dolly. She loved to sew and make beautiful clothes or quilts.  She also loved caring for family members for any and all reasons. She was taken from us to soon and she will be greatly missed. We will rejoice that she is reunited with her beloved family in Heaven.

This isn’t good bye Momma, it’s until we see you again in Heaven. We will love and miss you until then.
