Inez Rollins

Inez Rollins, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, entered eternal life with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the age of 98. At her request, there will be a graveside service at the family plot at Italy Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 with Pastor Mike Gilchrist officiating. In lieu of flowers, Inez requested memorials be sent to the First Methodist Church, Italy, Texas, where she prepared communion for 42 consecutive years. Inez was born in Milford, Texas to Edna and Burt Varner. She graduated from Milford High School. Inez was a homemaker, mother and help mate to her husband, Lockhart to whom she was married for 50 years. She was very active in her church and community. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lockhart; 2 brothers and a sister. The most important thing in her life after her love of God was her family. Her happiest times were those spent with her family gathered around the table sharing food she had spent days preparing, laughs and stories of times past. She was unconditional love personified. She is survived by her sons, Charles Rollins (Norma) of Aledo, Jimmy Rollins of Ft. Worth; her grandchildren, Ronda McBride (Gena) of Aubrey, Amy Byington (Danny) of Sanger, Robert Rollins of Arlington and Garrett Rollins of Grapevine; her great grandchildren, Clay Byington (Leda) and Kaylee Carlock (Sam); 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
