Imogene Conder

Imogene Conder, 88 of Waxahachie, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in Waxahachie, with her family sitting by her side. She was born to the late Walter L. and Onie B. Rogers Trammell on May 1, 1930 in Athens, Texas. She married the love of her life, Billy Kenneth Conder on September 23, 1950.

She worked for Haggar Slacks in Waxahachie for many years. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Waxahachie and loved to fellowship with family and friends. She loved to cook and bake. The loves of her life were her daughter, her son in-law and her grandsons. Family was very important to her. She will be greatly missed by so many that knew her and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Martin and her husband, James of Waxahachie; her grandsons, Brett and Chris Martin of Waxahachie; her brother, Ray Trammell and his wife, Anne of Marquez; her sisters, Mary Choate of Coupland and Melba O'Daniel and her husband, Ernest of Midlothian; her brother-in-law, Bobby Wells and his wife, Teresa of Waxahachie; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and many loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Kenneth Conder; her granddaughter, Amy Martin; her parents, Walter and Onie Trammell; her brother, Winford Trammell; and also by her sisters, Etta Mae McBride, Beatrice Huddleston, Linda Wells and Faye Browning.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Waxahachie City Cemetery with Rev. Rodney Holliday officiating.
