Herta Riedel

Herta Riedel, age 90, a resident of Waxahachie and former resident of Sun City West, Arizona passed away peacefully Thursday, March 7, 2013. Herta was born on April 15, 1922 to Emil and Luis Kienast Proske in East Germany. She had spent her retirement years in Sun City West, Arizona. After the passing of her second husband, she remarried at the age of 75 to Herb Riedel and they remained together until his passing in September of 2012. Herta relocated to Waxahachie, Texas in October of 2012 to be closer to her grandson, Carl Edmison. She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands; one brother, one sister and a son. She is survived by a daughter, Margit Edmison of Preceville, VA; two grandsons; three great granddaughters; five great grandchildren and one great great grandson. A memorial service celebrating her life will take place at a later date. Funeral services are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. HWY 287 Business, Waxahachie, Texas.
