Henry Mullins

November 30, 1926 — June 5, 2020

Alvarado

On June 5, 2020 Henry Holman Mullins aka Hornet, aka Pawpaw, passed away peacefully, in his home in Alvarado, Texas.  He was a part owner in a construction company and had a great love for his horses and mules.  He was a long-time member of the American Quarter Horse Association and established his own Brand in 1971.

He was a World War II Navy veteran.

He was a dedicated family man and was happily married for 63 years before his wife, Dolly Mullins, passed away in August 2010.

He will be missed by all his friends and business associates he made through the years.  He had a one of a kind personality that people did not soon forget.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pink and Mary Mullins, and 8 brothers and 6 sisters.

He is survived by one sister, Lois McDonald, who currently lives in Eastland, Texas.  His sons, Dennis Mullins and wife Betty in Alvarado, TX., James (Lynn) Mullins and wife Judy in Alvarado, TX., and Roger (Steve) Mullins and wife Sandra in Kingston, OK.  And there are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
