Henry Mercer

Henry James Mercer, 94 of Waxahachie, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in Waxahachie. He was born to the late James and Minnie Willig Mercer on July 30, 1921 in Montague County, Texas.
Henry was a farmer and loved working outside. He enjoyed working with his farm animals and loved visiting with his friends and neighbors. Henry never drove passed a neighbor without stopping and saying hello. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, who will always miss him.
Henry is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
A graveside service is scheduled for Noon, Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
