Henry passed away at his residence Friday afternoon in Italy. Henry was born in Waxahachie to Henry Vollie and Sally Myrtis (Tinsley) Jaynes. He was raised in Italy and graduated from Italy High School in 1964. He graduated from the Texas Barber College in Dallas and was a barber in Italy for over 20 years. Henry was a member of the Italy Christian Church and was a part night attendant for the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Henry enjoyed landscaping and visiting.

One brother Jeff Jaynes of San Leon, Texas, three nephews; Coleman Jaynes and his wife of Emmett, Phillip Jaynes and his wife Ann of Bristol, Carl Jaynes and his wife Dianne of Italy, survive him. Also surviving are four great nephews he considered his grandchildren; Carl Jr., Vollie 2nd, Jack and Michael, and a cousin Lucretia Couch.
His parents preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8 PM Saturday evening at the Italy Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home161 West Main, in Italy.

The Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2003 in the Italy Chapel. Interment will follow in the Blooming Grove Cemetery,
