Helen K. Pomykal, 71 of Red Oak, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 in Waxahachie. She was born on May 21, 1944 in Rosebud, Texas. Helen loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, along with countless friends that she considered family. Helen spent 4 decades as a beautician. Helen always kept a beautiful home and landscape. She loved baking, sewing and spending time with the great people at the Red Oak Senior Center. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Henry E. Pomykal; her sons, Tony Pomykal and his wife, Julie and Tim Pomykal and his wife, Amy; also by her 4 grandchildren, Blake (22), Weston (9), Tate (7) and Riley (6). Helen was preceded in death by her mother, Lydia Lange; her father, Arthur Lange; her brother, Albert Lange; also by her sister, Fluorine Lange. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery with a gathering at the Red Oak Lions Club (207 W. Red Oak Rd. in Red Oak, TX.) after the burial.
