Hayes Boyd Taylor
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Hayes on February 20, 2025. In his 1 year and 6 months with us, he filled our lives with immeasurable love, joy, and light.
Born on July 9, 2023 to Shelby Hooper and Donald Taylor, Hayes Boyd Taylor was a source of endless laughter and warmth. He had a way of making every moment special, whether it was through his infectious giggles, his boundless curiosity, or the way he wrapped his tiny arms around those he loved.
Hayes Boyd Taylor is deeply missed by his mother, Shelby Hooper, and father, Donald Taylor; his big brothers, Broley Taylor and Vince Taylor; his grandparents, Ginger Hooper Abramson and Gary Forrest Abramson, Susan Taylor (Candy Gram) and Steve Davis, as well as Kimberly and James Bradford; and his great-grandparents, Timothy and Bettie Robertson and Diane Robertson. He is also cherished by his aunts and uncles, Timmy Hooper (Courtney), Dylan Hooper, Travis Hooper (Danica), Genevie Taylor, Elizabeth Tello (Juan), and Paul Taylor; his cousins, Highley Robertson, Shelbee, Samantha, Gianna, Luka, Scarlett, Greyson, Camden, Giovanni, Luca, and Ava; and his great-aunt Rhonda and Gary Autrey and great-uncle Brian Robertson. Hayes touched the hearts of Chance Bradford and Bri’ana Rawls, as well as many others who cherished him. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rickey Lloyd Hooper and Chauncey Taylor, his great-grandmother Diane Robertson, and his uncle Vincent Mariani and Herb Robertson. Though his time here was far too short, he leaves behind a lifetime of love and beautiful memories that will never fade.
A service to honor Hayes Boyd Taylor will be held on March 22nd, 2025 at Midlothian Bible Church beginning at 11 AM. Following the memorial service, a graveside service will take place at Red Oak Cemetery at 2:00 PM on March 22nd, 2025. We invite all who loved him to join us in celebrating his life and the love he brought into ours.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Midlothian Bible Church in Hayes' honor.
Hayes was one of the most joyful, patient, and content little guys you ever laid eyes on. He always had a smile, and it never faded; it could light up an entire room. He was just content with the whole world around him and was in awe of his big brother Broley. He would just watch his every move and wanted to follow right behind him, even if Broley pushed him away. I will always keep Hayes' memory alive for Broley to remember he's his brother's keeper. He was too good for this world.
Forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.
