Harold Vineyard

Harold was born in Sherman, TX to Willard R. Vineyard and Effie Edens.  He passed away in his home September 18, 2019 at the age of 90.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Vonda, Merriwell, Billie, James, Jack, and Evelyn Modene.

He is survived by his brother Jerald “Jerry” Vineyard of Phoenix Arizona; sons Randy Vineyard of Waxahachie and Reed Vineyard of Houston; grand daughters Callie Crouse of Waxahachie; and Ashlyne Vineyard of Waco; Grandson Cole Vineyard of Waxahachie; great grandchildren River, Cylas, and Carleigh; and his wife of 62 years Jane Vineyard.

Harold served his county is the United States Navy as a radar operator in the Korean War. Then as a civil servant Perrin Air force base in Dennison, TX.  Later Harold joined his brother at Big A Auto in Ennis, TX before starting his own auto parts store in downtown Waxahachie.  Harold continued to work at NAPA auto parts up until the day before death.

Harold was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waxahachie. Harold’s final resting place will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
