Harold Dean Strange, age 69
January 7, 1937
November 9, 2006

Harold Dean Strange left this world November 9, 2006. He had fought a thirteen year battle with heart-lung disease and cancer. Harold was born January 7, 1937 in Crockett, Texas to Emil and Odie Strange. He was a member of Kessler Park Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas. He had lived in Arcadia Park, Duncanville, Mesquite and the past 22 years near Waxahachie, Texas. He was employed by Painters Local #53 for several years, then operated his own company Tenco Paint and Drywall. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pat Clinton of Kelso, Washington; son, Danny Strange of Duncanville and daughter, Brenda of Duncanville. Harold leaves a monumental void in the hearts of the "good ole" boys club-riding motorcycles-hunting-fishing-and telling tall tales around the camp fire. Their love and camaraderie for one another was great. For everything there is a season-a time to laugh-to hunt-to fish-a time to cry and a time to die-this was Harold's time.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 24 years and 11 months, Martha; one sister, three brothers, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Hold fast to your memories-the laughter and the special moments that time will never change and will always be in your heart.

Pallbearers will be Wally Richards, Eddie Belcher, Dewy Burkhalter, Al Dill, Gerald Rawlinson, Melvin Rawlinson, Perry Kennedy and Vince Young.

Family visitation will be Friday, 6-8 PM with Reverend David Kuykendall officiating. Services will be held at Red Oak Funeral Home Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Barbee Cemetery, Dublin, Texas at 3 PM.
