Guy Cockerham

Guy Lee Cockerham passed away at the age of 50 on Friday, January 29, 2016 with a heart attack. He was born November 7, 1965 in Alvarado, Texas.
He was a loving husband, father and son. He loved the Texas Rangers and was an avid Cowboys fan. Guy enjoyed spending time with his family and will be forever missed and continually loved.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Rebecca Sue Cockerham; his sons, Bobby Taylor New Jersy and Steven Cockerham of Venus; his mother, Nelda Cockerham of Humble; his brother, Tony Robert Cockerham of Paducah, Texas; also by a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He loved them all.
He was preceded in death by his father, Selma Dewey (Sam) Cockerham; his sister, Clovia Clowers; his grandparents, Dewey and Eva Cockerham and Robert and Grace Wright.
Those serving as pallbearers include Gary Dwayne Cockerham, Gary Dale Cockerham, Kenny Sanders, Robert Ferguson, Terry Skipper, Steven Sims, Jason Sims and Mark Sims.
Honorary pallbearers include Dale Clowers, Wayne Sims, Woodrow Cockerham, Jerry Darling and Jeff Gladney.
Services to celebrate Guys life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Brother Alan Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Peak Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
