Capt. Gregory S Clute lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on May 29th, 2017. He leaves behind Kathleen, his loving wife of 44 years, his son and daughter-in-law Jason and Erin, grandsons Cooper, Carson, and Connor, his mother Marguerite, sisters Susan and Renee, and a bounty of extended family, friends, and colleagues, who all had the pleasure of knowing him. In short, he left us too soon.
Greg held electrical engineering degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington and the Air Force Institute of Technology, with emphasis in low observable (stealth) technologies. A veteran of the Air Force for 23 years, and an engineer with Tamko Building Products for 20 years, Greg was devoted to excellence and efficiency.
But as much as Greg enjoyed working with his hands and his mind, he loved his family more. He made time for every major family event, every holiday, every game. He was deeply generous, and gave as much of his time and money away to charitable organizations as he possibly could.
His endless compassion, selfless giving, and undying faith will live on in our hearts and our kind actions.
Please help our family turn this sad occasion into a positive one by considering a donation to a local charity of your choice.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, Texas.
Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Baylor Baptist Church, 210 North Preston, Ennis, Texas, with Bro. Nic Collins officiating.
