"Richard" Gregorio Esparza
March 12, 1932
October 19, 2004

Mr. Esparza passed away Tuesday at Charlton Methodist Hospital, Dallas. He was born in Hubbard, TX. to Santiago and Ambrocia (Tovar) Esparza. "Richard" had lived in Waxahachie since the early 1950's. He was a farmer and a member of the Bethesda Assembly DeDios Church in Waxahachie.

Mr. Esparza is survived by: his wife, Eppie Esparza of Waxahachie; daughter, Gloria Esparza, also of Waxahachie; brother, Sparky Esparza and his wife Carmen of Midlothian; sisters, Tabita Esparza, Rebecca Rodgers and Angie Armstrong, all of Waxahachie; numerous nieces and nephews of whom he helped raise; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and four sisters.

A wake service is scheduled for 7 PM Thursday in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home with the Celebration of Life at 2:30 PM on Friday, October 22, 2004 at the same location with Brother Rudy DeLeon officiating. Assisting Brother DeLeon will be Reverend Robert Saenz, Reverend Chris Klock and Reverend Anthony Garcia. Pallbearers will be James Esparza, Jonathan Martinez, Tarus Vicks, Michael Jason Hall, Michael Donaldson and Gabriel Lopez. Interment will follow in Hughes Cemetery, Avalon.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
