Grady Shinpaugh

Grady C. Shinpaugh, 84 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Cecil S. and Lois L. Moffet Shinpaugh on August 10, 1928 in Waxahachie. Grady proudly served our country; a member of the 10th Rangers in the United States Army, serving in Korea. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Shinpaugh of Waxahachie; his son, Carl C. Shinpaugh and his wife, Karin of Dallas; his daughter, Janet Size and her husband, Mike of Cincinnati, OH; his sisters, Shirley Allred of Waxahachie, Linda Featherston of Waxahachie and Dorothy Jacobs and her husband, T. H. of Waxahachie; his brother, Hugh Charles Shinpaugh and his wife, Sharon of Quinlan, Texas; his grandchildren, Austin Shinpaugh, Ashley Shinpaugh, Andrew Size and Trevor Size. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lois Shinpaugh; also by his brothers, Cecil Shinpaugh, Leland Shinpaugh and James Shinpaugh. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Sardis Cemetery.
