Mr. Aparicio, a lifetime Ellis County resident, passed away Wednesday evening at Ennis Regional Hospital. He was born in Goree, TX. To Ricardo Edward and Deloris Cormona Aparicio. He was raised in Avalon and married Alicia Torres on August 11, 1958 in Waxahachie. Mr. Aparicio, an employee of the Howard Gin for the last few years, was a retired truck driver. He loved his grandchildren and being outdoors barbequing. He was a member of the Italy Epiphany Mission Catholic Church.

He is survived by: wife, Alicia Torres Aparicio; sons, Richard Edward Aparicio and wife JoAnn of Arkansas and Luis Aparicio and wife Gina of Ennis; daughters, Anna Lynn Aparicio of Nash, Beatrice Estella Bundrick and husband David of Avalon, Michelle Yvette Bravo and husband Richard of Ennis and Petra Yvonne Bruner and husband Todd of Nash; brothers, Richard Aparicio and wife Nina, Enrique Aparicio and Roy Aparicio all of Austin; sisters, Antonio Aparicio of Houston, Mary Prise and Martha Lopez both of Austin; nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Friday and the Rosary will be 8 PM at the Italy Chapel, 161 W. Main St., Italy, TX. 76651. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 Noon Saturday, June 5, 2004 at the same location with Father Michael Guadagnoli,
Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Vincent Guerrero, Paul Jacinto, Lucio Jacinto, Elivorio Flores, Adan Sias, and Miguel Palacios. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Haro, Miguel Haro, Leo Garza, Robert Rios and Severino Torres, Jr. Interment will follow in Italy Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
