Gloria Mendez

Gloria Quilimaco Mendez of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 in Waxahachie. She was born on April 1, 1954 in Rosebud, Texas to the late Augustine and Elida Quilimaco. Gloria loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved people and was always the life of the party. She had a giving spirit and opened her home and kitchen to anyone in need. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed. Survivors include her daughter, Melisa Gayton and her husband, Eric; her son, Steve Mendez and his wife, Kristy, Daughter, Roxana Quilimaco; Her son, Wally Mendez and his wife, Amber, all of Waxahachie; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Elida Quilimaco. Memorial services to celebrate Gloria's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2013 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
