Gloria Claud

Gloria Ann Claud, 78 of Red Oak, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in Ennis, Texas. She was born January 30, 1935 in Lonoke, Arkansas to the late Fred and Edna McMinn. Gloria was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Waxahachie and was a 50 plus year member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She loved to read the Bible and always enjoyed traveling with her husband John. She will be dearly missed by her family and everyone who knew her and loved her. She is survived by her 3 sons: John & Deirdre Claud of Champion, Michigan; Jerry & Sue Claud of Waxahachie, TX. ; Victor & Karen Claud of Red Oak, Texas; 1 Daughter and Son in Law: Dee Ann & Curtis Phillips of Rio Rico, Arizona; 8 Grandchildren: Tristen Vasquez, Chelsey Claud, Grayson Claud, Matthew Claud, Joseph Claud, Jessica Masura, Byron Brinley and Andrew Brinley; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Suzannah Masura, Byron Brinley, Jr., Hannah Brinley, Andrew Brinley, Jr. and Sophia Brinley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: John Claud in 2002. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, April 22, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Waxahachie with Dr. Jerry Galloway officiating. Interment will be held at 9:15 AM Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
