Mrs. Brown passed away Wednesday morning at Medical City Hospital in Dallas.
Gloria was born in Ebermannstadt, Germany to Warren and Margareta (Trautner) Underwood. Being of a military family she was educated worldwide including; Albuquerque, New Mexico, Brownwood and Arlington, Texas and Germany. She married Jerry Don Brown, August 20, 1983 in Waxahachie and they have resided in Garland for 25 years. Gloria was a domestic homemaker who cherished her relationship with her husband and family. She was a member of the Lake Highlands United Methodist Church.

She is survived by: her husband of 25 years, Jerry Brown , her mother Margareta Underwood and her special friend Helmut Krauss of Waxahachie, 2 brothers; Johnny Underwood of Lancaster, Michael Underwood and his wife Cindy of Knoxville, Tennessee, 2 sisters; Susan Aston of Dallas, and Cathy Burks and her husband Ken of Frisco. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and son.

She was preceeded in death by her father Warren.

A Memorial Service has been scheduled Celebrating her life for 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2008 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Bray officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
