Glenda (Johnston) Taylor, age 71

June 6, 2009

Ms Taylor passed away Saturday evening at her residence in Waxahachie.
Glenda was born in Paul, Alabama to Charley and Lois Johnson Hester. She was raised and educated in Paul and was of the Baptist faith. Glenda married Louis Allen Taylor in Waxahachie in 1976. She loved her family, raising grandkids, cooking, cleaning and loved to laugh.

She is survived by her daughter Tamara Scott and her husband Walter of Barry, Tx., her son Todd Johnston and his wife Vicki of Forreston, 2 brothers; John Ansley and his wife Carolyn of Alvarado, Donnie Hester and his wife Karen of Evergreen, Alabama, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and the father of her children Jim Tom Johnston of Forreston. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephew, and special friends; Francis Duvall, Evelyn Daniels, Kaye Pendley, and Jim Tom Johnston.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her second husband, one daughter, one son, one brother and one sister.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5 to 7 PM Monday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2:30 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Ansel officiating. Interment will follow at the Forreston Cemetery.
