Gladys Huddle, 93, was called home by her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 10, 2006. She was born August 10, 1913 in Telico, Texas, to Marion L. Shaw and Lillie M. (Templin) Shaw.

She was retired from W.A. Dickie Company Company in 1976. Her passion in life was to serve and care for her family and friends. She loved to cook and sew for any and everyone.

She was preceded in death by both parents, two sisters, three brothers and great granddaughter Hailey Huddle.

She is survived by: her brother, Willie (Bill) Shaw of Lancaster, Texas; four children, Frank Shaw of Lancaster, Truett Huddle and wife Barbara of Waxahachie, Merlene Jones of Waxahachie and Raymond Huddle and wife Toni of Waxahachie; eight grandchildren, Danny Shaw and wife Ginger, Sandra Hicks, Jeff Huddle and wife Judy, Kerri Araujo and husband Marty, Wade Jones and wife Diane, Brian Jones, Derek Huddle and wife Jennifer and Mark Huddle; 11 great-grandchildren, Justin Araujo, Carissa Araujo, Tiffany Recor, Jennifer Jones, Chris Baize and wife Kindrea, Chad Baize and wife Brooke, Emily Huddle, Jessica Huddle, Brandy Scheley and husband Donny, Kellie Shaw, Christi Mancin and husband Chad, Derek Hicks; two great-great-grandchildren, McKenzie Scheley and Jax Scheley.

Visitation will be at1 PM Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home, with a graveside service officiated by Reverend Richard Smith immediately following at Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
