Ginger Kay Russell, age 44, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 7 at Baylor Medical Center. She was born in Waxahachie to Mr. and Mrs. James Fox, and resided here her whole life.

Ms. Russell graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1979. She entered adulthood to live her simple dream as a mother. Ginger had numerous occupations including Dickies, Family Practice Clinic, and HEB Grocery Store.

A friend to all, her vitality and zest for living was an inviting attraction to those around her. She was a lifelong member of Ferris Heights United Methodist Church.

Ms. Russell is survived by her two daughters, Amanda N. Russell and Lindsey F. Russell; her fiancé, Tommy Posey and his two daughters, Ericka and Allison Posey; mother, Daisy Fox; brother, Gary Fox and his wife Teri; niece Jennifer Fox; nephew Justin Fox; former husband, Rick Russell and his Mrs. Linda Baggett, all of Waxahachie. She also leaves behind five "inherited" children: Tres Medlock, Amanda Bell, Alan Hays, Ashley Bell and Jordan Sellers, with an addition of many more friends and loved ones as well.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 2 PM Thursday, December 9, 2004
at the Ferris Heights United Methodist Church with Reverends John Shipman, Mike Ramsdell and Beal officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary Fox, Rick Russell, Tres Medlock, Alan Hays, Jordan Sellers, and Randy Redmon. Interment will follow in the Itasca City Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
