Geraldine "Jerri" Loftis May 23, 1927 July 17, 2011 Mrs. Geraldine "Jerri" Loftis, 84, of Waxahachie, passed away Sunday Afternoon at Charlton Methodist Hospital. Jerri was born near Harrisburg, Arkansas to W. B. and Zelma (Wheeler) Spradling. She married Joe Loftis, July 29, 1949 in Waxahachie. She retired from Waxahachie Bank & Trust after many years working at the Motor Bank. She and Joe made their home in the Lone Elm / Sardis area and were long time members of the Sardis United Methodist Church. Jerri is survived by; her husband of 63 years Joe Loftis, one daughter Cheree Loftis Williams and her husband Bob of Russelville, Arkansas, five grandchildren; Cara Casto and her husband Jeff, Emily Shores and her husband Brian, Amanda Estes and her husband Mike, Andrew Williams and his wife Mandy, Lindsey Markert and her husband Ryan, and eleven great grandchildren; Kylie Casto, Aubrey Casto, Caleb Casto, Abigail Casto, Emma Shores, Peyton Shores, Easton Shores, Jackson Markert, Brayden Markert, and Hunter Williams. Also surviving are: 3 sisters; Sylvia Glover, Shelby Weaver, Donna Noel and one brother Paul Spradling. Proceding her in death were her parents, one brother W. B. Spradling, Jr., and her son Larry Joe Loftis. The family received friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Monday evening. The Celebration of Life will be at 10 AM Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel at Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Reverend Dale Wilbanks officiating. Interment will follow at the Sardis Cemetery. Pall bearers will be; Brian Shores, Jeff Casto, Andrew Williams, Amanda Estes, Sam Sanchez, and Ryan Markert.
