George Douglas Sill, Sr., age 56
August 15, 1947
September 2, 2003

Mr. Sill passed away Tuesday in Dallas. He was born in Dallas to George Frederick and Emma Elizabeth (Broadstone) Sill. George and his wife Becky had lived in Waxahachie the past twenty years, moving from Whitney. He was a body mechanic for Village Lincoln Mercury and a member of the First Baptist Church of Waxahachie.

Mr. Sill is survived by: his wife, Becky; son and daughter-in-law, George Douglas Sill, Jr. and Melissa of McKinney; aunt, Georgia Frances Broadstone of Whitney; and one grandson, George Douglas Sill III of McKinney. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Saturday, September 6, 2003 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Leroy Fenton officiating. Pallbearers will be George Sill, Jr., Wesley Marmaduke, Tom Almand, Gregg Burdette, Jim Driver and Chris Jones. Interment will follow in Frost Cemetery.
