George Lee Robards was born March 29, 1940 in Dallas, Texas and passed this life on August 18, 2022 in Waxahachie, Texas. George was a cabinet specialist and owned his own business, Wel Built Cabinets, in Rockett. George enjoyed playing golf and fishing.

George is preceded in death by his parents, L.D. Robards and Myrtle Robards, two brothers, a sister and a daughter.

George is survived by his wife, Ann Robards, sons Ricky Robards, Dicky Bodkins and Jimmy Caruthers, daughters Paula Clements and Betsy King, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
