Mr. Jones passed away Monday morning at Charlton Methodist Hospital, Dallas. He was born in Itasca, TX. to David May and Lee Estelle (Holloway) Jones. He graduated from Itasca High School in 1951. He also attended North Texas University at Denton for three years, SMU Methodist Hospital, and Beauty School in Houston. Mr. Jones lived in Houston for a number of years where he was employed with Oak Farms, later transferring with Oak Farms to Ft. Worth. He came back to Waxahachie where he was employed with Tyler Refrigeration for ten years. His last employment was with Judy's Café in Red Oak. Mr. Jones was an artist and his murals are at the Rockett Café.

He is survived by: a son, Steven Bruce Jones of Itasca; stepson, Bill Hamilton and his wife Tracy of Red Oak; sisters, Olive May Chandler of Itasca, Georgia M. Henthorne of Maypearl; four grandchildren, Shawn Jones of West, Amber Jones of Cleburne, Montana Hamilton and Christopher Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Keith Jones; a brother, Dearwood Jones; sisters, Mable Brannon and Eder Marion.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at 3 PM Sunday, July 10, 2005, at Judy's Café, 132 E. Ovilla Road, Red Oak, TX. 75154.
