Gay Lynn Wells passed away Tuesday at Parkland Hospital, Dallas. She was born in Frederick, OK. to Elbert Adams and Betty Sue Raglin. She attended Skyline High School and was raised in the Pleasant Grove area. Gay Lynn had been employed with the Dallas Auto Auction and was school custodian for the Red Oak Independent School District before becoming disabled. She loved her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great and grand. Gay was of the Baptist faith.

Her survivors include: her father and his wife, Elbert Adams and Deloris of Onalaska, TX.; mother, Betty Sue Raglin Morse of Red Oak, TX.; son, Jeffery Allen Newman of Lafayette, LA.; daughter, Jennifer Ann Marsh of Austin; sister, Charlotte Davis and Ronnie of Ennis; grandchildren, Tommy and Chad Marsh, Jeffery Allen, Jr. and Paris Newman; nieces and nephews, Perry Davis, Bryan Davis (favorite), Michael Shawn Adams, Andrea Clemons, Laura Beth Adams; great nieces and nephews, Mykal Davis, Payton Davis and Avery Dickard. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Adams.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-9 PM Thursday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 9 AM Graveside Services Friday, July 21, 2006 at the Red Oak Cemetery with interment to follow.
