Gary Stoffregen

Gary Stoffregen, 68 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Waxahachie. He was born to the late Carl W. "Bud" Stoffregen and Evaline Ward Stoffregen on August 17, 1944 in Ike, Texas. Gary was known to many as "Gabo". He loved to tell his stories, and he loved football. He will be missed. He is survived by his daughters, Dinah Stoffregen of Waxahachie, Melanie Frey and her husband, Nathan of Austin, Michelle Baker of Austin; his son, Chris Stoffregen and his wife, Angela of Austin; his sister, Wanda Webb of Garland; his brother, Larry Stoffregen and his wife, Sally of Gun Barrell City; his nephews, Scott Stoffregen and his wife, Charlotte of Forney and Dennis Stoffregen and his wife, Tobey of Waxahachie. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karla Stoffregen; by his sister, Barbara Jean Stoffregen Horn; by his nephew, Michael Horn; and also by his niece, Lisa Delgado. A memorial service to celebrate Gary's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
