Gary Leath

Gary Leon Leath, 71, died January 28, 2013 at his home in Red Oak. He leaves behind a family he dearly loved: Daughters Alona Leath (Red Oak area), and Alora Wachholz with husband Brian and son Maxime (Denton) and sons - Corbett Leath with his daughters Checotah and Raven (Duncanville), and Cason Leath and wife Summer (Red Oak). Also, son Joseph Leath with wife Angela and their children Tyller and Jared (near Indianapolis). Gary started at an early age as a singer and musician, eventually recording several records with his band 'Gary Leath and the NuTones'. Though he spent his life as a firefighter, EMT, car salesman, etc, he always returned to his music, recording a final CD a few years before his death. He was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville. In lieu of a funeral at this time, a memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
