Gary Guthrie

Gary Gupy Guthrie, 59 of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at this residence. He was born April 25, 1956 in Athens, Texas. Gary loved to fish, playing poker and enjoyed telling jokes and making everyone laugh. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, his brother and all of his family. He will be missed and never forgotten. He is survived by his daughter, Desiree Ralston and her husband, Keith of Waxahachie; his sister, Faye Spikes of Georgetown; his brothers, Charles Guthrie and his wife, Yelonda of Chandler, Scott Guthrie of Waxahachie and Robert Edward Guthrie of Waxahachie; also by his grandchildren, Ricky Bubba Butler, Haylee Pumpkin Butler and Trenton Mason; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Sam Guthrie; his mother, Margie Guthrie; his brother, James Robert Guthrie; his sister, Winnie Raymond and his brother-in-law, Joe Spikes.
