Gary Davis

Gary Joe Davis, 70 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at his residence. He was born to Lloyd and Martha Davis on November 4, 1942 in Dallas, Texas. Gary enjoyed hunting in Mexico and fishing. He loved his dogs and was a farm equipment dealer for 37 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by so many who loved him. He is survived by his wife, Socorro (Coco) Davis of Waxahachie; his mother, Martha Davis; his daughter, Leslie Davis of Waxahachie; his son, Greg Davis of Ovilla; his sister, Marty Anderson of Murphy; and his 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Gavin Davis; also by his father, Lloyd Davis. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
