Freida Feaster Bruner

Freida Feaster Bruner, 77 of Nash passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at her home in Nash after a long illness. She was born on October 8, 1930 in Waxahachie to the late Fred C. Feaster and Martha M. Feaster.
She married Neubron Bruner on February 28, 1947 and has lived in Nash since 1963. During her lifetime she was active in church work at Kiest Park Baptist Church in Dallas, Water Street Baptist Church in Waxahachie and Forreston Baptist Church. She was a faithful wife, good mother and grandmother. She loved singing gospel music and sang in the choir for 15 years. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and did so for 15 years. Freida also attended the Stamps Music School. She will be missed by so many who loved her and knew her.
She is survived by her loving and supporting husband of 61 years, Neubron F. Bruner of Nash; her daughter, Marsha Shubert and son-in-law, Larry Shubert of Dawsonville, GA; her son, Freddie Bruner and daughter-in-law, Beverly of Nash; son-in-law, Ronnie Harris of Nash; her grandchildren, Tonya Stanton of Midlothian, Tovie Duke of Mansfield, GA, and Todd Bruner and Ashley Isom of Nash; her great-grandchildren, Jarret and Paige Stanton of Midlothian, Regan and Hunter Duke of Mansfield, GA, Dustin and Jordon Bruner, Zoe Isom of Nash and Erin Isom of Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred C. Feaster and Martha M. Feaster; and by her daughter, Kim Harris.
Services to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie with Rev. Larry Poarch and Chaplain Mark White officiating. Interment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
Those serving as pallbearers include, Keith Stanton, Johnny Duke, Todd Bruner, Mike Isom, Jarret Stanton and Dustin Bruner.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jordon Bruner and Hunter Duke.
The family would like to thank everyone for your support, prayers, and kind appreciation's during this very difficult time. Family members and friends are invited to attend a luncheon with the family at 11:30 a.m. at the Nash Community Center on Sunday, August 24, 2008.
