Freelin Cooper

Freelin Cooper, age 89 of Red Oak, Texas passed away August 16, 2015 in Ferris, Texas. He was born on January 25, 1926 in Daisy, Oklahoma to the late John & Virilla Satterfield Cooper. Freelin served in the US Army, after the military he was employed until his retirement from DART. He will be dearly missed by his family and everyone who knew him and loved him. He is survived by his son Steve Cooper and wife Sandy; 1 Daughter: Carol Smith and husband Don; Grandchildren: Chris Smith& wife Bethany, Brea Smith, Anna McGovern & husband John, Georgette Weidemeyer & husband Colter & Misty Klotz & husband Jesse; and 15 Great Grandchildren. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Bruce Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
