Freddy Gene Harper, age 86 of Red Oak, Texas passed away Sunday, April 02, 2017 in Waxahachie. Freddy was born on August 16, 1930 in Knox City, Texas to the late Jack Jean and Addie Mae Whitaker Harper. He was a longtime minister and served in the U.S. Air Force. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him and loved him.
Freddy is survived by his wife Helen Harper of Red Oak, Texas, 3 Sons and Daughters in laws: Kenneth Ray & Janet Harper of Midland, Texas, Dennis Gene & Martha Harper of Odessa, Texas, Kevin Neal & Judy Harper of Sebastian, Florida. 1 Daughter: Carolyn Ann & George Duncan of Frost, Texas. 3 Sisters in law: Beverly Adams, Peggy Brown and Charlotte Harper. 16 grandchildren: 16 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. And numerous nieces and nephews and other friends and family.
Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 05, 2017 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Derlon Wilson and Pastor Harold Wells officiating. Interment will follow on Thursday, April 06, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Visitation with the family is scheduled for 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 04, 2017 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
