Frankie Mcgaha

Frankie Ella McGaha, 80 of Red Oak, Texas passed away in Dallas on Monday, January 18, 2016. She was born on March 17, 1935 in Hamlin, Texas to the late James Franklin Mary Ella Talbert Weaver.

She married James Leonard McGaha on June 01, 1952 they were married 62 years. She graduated from Waxahachie High School and later attended Cedar Valley Junior College. She was a Mother to many children at the Presbyterian Childrens Home in Waxahachie. Her favorite book was the bible, she would read daily for hours. She encouraged her family and others by reminding them: You can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. Proverbs 31:10-31 best describes our precious Wife, Mother, Granny and GiGi. Who can find a better one. The Matriarch of our family has led us directly to the throne room of the Most High God, by her actions, words and deeds.

Survivors include her children: Theresa Medlin of Italy, Texas; James and Melvis McGaha of Houston, Texas; Timothy and Judy McGaha from New Braunfels, Texas; Steve and Karen McGaha from Nixon, Texas; Terri Hulshouser from Italy, Texas and Denise and Durham Cornett of Red Oak, Texas; 1 Sister: Lillie Mae Riddle of Lytle, Texas; 2 Brothers: Richard Morton Weaver of Joshua, Texas and James Talbert Weaver of Grandbury, Texas; 20 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren: She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James L. McGaha, Sister: Jimmy Ruth Weaver, Sister: Darlene Miller, Sister, Marie Tabor, Daughter in Law: Kristina McMillion McGaha, Granddaughter: Michelle Kathleen Medlin and Great Grandson: Jase Cornett Watson.

Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Italy Cemetery in Italy, Texas. Visitation with the family is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
