Frank Ethelmoore Tims was born September 11, 1903 near Mansfield, Texas to Marcus L. and Minnie Emmons Tims. He attended School in Mansfield, Waxahachie and Howard. He married Berneice Dunn on January 2, 1931.

He worked as a railroad clerk for over thirty-eight years. Included in this service was eighteen years in Waxahachie, Sherman and Dallas with the Texas Electric Railway (Interurban) and more than twenty years with Missouri-Kansas-Texas (Katy) Railroad. He retired December 31, 1968. He was a member of Farley Street Baptist Church. He was Past Chancelor of Knights of Pythias at Howard and Past Master of Nash Masonic Lodge.

Three nieces survive him: Juanita Stoffregen, Lawanna Ford and Wanda Reams. Also surviving are three sisters-in-law: Hazel Dunn, Pansy Dunn and Christine Dunn, several grand nieces and nephews. His parents, his wife and one infant brother and one infant sister preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Saturday August 30, 2003, 6 to 8PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W Highway 287 Business.

The Celebration of Life will be Sunday, August 31, 2003 at the graveside in Waxahachie City Cemetery at 3PM. Officiating will be Dr. Jack Manning.
