Frank Henley, age 93

Mr. Henley passed away Sunday at Renfro Health and Rehab. He was born in Falls County, Texas to John Baldwin and Velma Viola (Smith) Henley. He worked and managed Duke and Ayres for forty five years in Waxahachie and Navasota, TX. Mr. Henley served in the US Army during WWII. Mr. Frank was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the Waxahachie Lions Club and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church where he was an active Deacon and Deacon Emeritus.

Mr. Henley is survived by: his wife, LaVerne Henley of Waxahachie; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Carol Henley of Kingwood, TX. and Donald and Pat Henley of Waxahachie; daughter, Diane Henley of Waxahachie; brother, A. C. Henley and Louise of Brownwood; grandchildren, Shelley and Reed Vineyard, Susan Henley, Mark Henley and Jason and Terri Henley; great grandchildren, Ashlyne Vineyard, Gabrielle Henley and Tyler Henley. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Leroy Fenton officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Henley, Mark Henley, Keith Almand, Fred Widner, Lyle Hunt and Bob Saylors. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
First Baptist Church Building Repair Fund, 315 N. Rogers St., Waxahachie, TX. 75165.
