Frances Moreno

Frances Moreno, 82 of Waxahachie, passed away, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in Waxahachie. She was born to the late Otilio and Vivian Moreno on May 11, 1931 in Waxahachie. Frances loved to sing and enjoyed sewing. She loved to make clothes for her doll collection. She loved flowers and was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Waxahachie where she was involved with many committees. She was a member of the Altar Society, taught CCD (Catholic Instruction) and was a Cursillista member. She worked at the Forest Nursery, Haggars, Ennis Tag and Business Forms of Waxahachie. Frances will be missed by so many who knew her and loved her. She is survived by her brothers, Frank Moreno of Irving, Alfred Moreno and his wife, Vera of Irving, John Moreno and Shirley of Carrollton, Pete Moreno and his wife, Lupe of Waxahachie, Jesse Moreno and his wife, Vickie of DeSoto, Joe Moreno and his wife, Robbie of Dallas and Albert Moreno and his wife, Jerry of Seagoville; her sisters, Pauline Pavoldi of Duanesburg, NY, Geneva Aguilar of Mesquite, Olga Valdez and her husband, Delfino of Dallas and Cynthia Tamez and her husband, Gearold of Dallas; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otilio and Vivian Moreno; and also by her brother, Andy Moreno. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
